Who We Are

Christ Centered Homeschoolers (CCH) exists to support and encourage families on their homeschooling journey, especially moms! Our group was founded on the biblical principle of support found in Ecclesiastes 4:10, “For if either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” As moms, we need support and fellowship, and CCH members are there to help one another.

In addition to our regular monthly support meetings for moms, which are held August through May at Hamilton Mill Christian Church in Buford, Georgia, we offer a variety of events and activities for our families and students during the year.  We know how important it is for your children to have support, too! We also have weekly park days and several monthly member-organized field trips.
We currently serve families in Gwinnett, Barrow, Hall, & Jackson Counties.

Visit our group

We would love to meet you and have you get to know us better!  Interested families are welcome to attend a couple of events prior to registering - please reach out by email and we'll make arrangements with you. Please familiarize yourself with our Statement of Faith prior visiting.

2025-2026 Applications

At this time, we are now accepting applications to be on our waitlist. If you are interested in being placed on our waiting list, please click this link for our 2025-2026 waiting list application.

Please have all information listed below ready before you begin.

Before you Apply

CCH requires a family's oldest child to be five years old, on or before September 1 of the year applying, for the family to be eligible for membership. Also, to be considered a legal homeschooler in Georgia, you must also fill out a Declaration of Intent.
  1. A Google account is required to fill it out.  Please ensure you are submitting the application under your desired (and required) email account at the bottom of this section.  Switch account if necessary.
  2. We have limited capacity. A certain number of applicants will move on to the second phase of the application process where you’ll be invited to schedule an in-person interview with members of our board.
  3. If you are not invited to the interview process, you will automatically be placed on a waiting list.
  4. You will receive an automated response email once your application has been submitted.
  5. Those who complete the in-person interview process and are accepted will receive a welcome email with details on how to pay the non-refundable annual fee of $65. (We only accept Zelle, cash or checks.)

The application, interview and decision process takes time. We are all volunteers. Please be patient with us.

Please do not attempt to pay the membership fee until you have received a welcome email.

If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].

What our members think about CCH!

"Because of Christ Centered Homeschoolers we have a wonderful group of Christian homeschooling friends that give us love, support, and are willing to journey with us through our homeschooling adventure. The relationships we have built through CCH are precious, priceless and will undoubtedly last a lifetime!" - Collette S. (member since 2017)

"CCH has given me and my family a safe place to connect and build sincere friendships with other homeschool families that we may not have met otherwise. My children's best friends are in this group, and so are mine! Christ is glorified and lifted up in this group and it SHOWS. CCH is amazing and I could not be more grateful to have joined when I did!" - Bonnie W. (member since 2017)

"CCH has been a lifeline to our family, providing friendships and helpful knowledge and tips for our homeschooling journey. But the best part has been the way the other moms truly point me back to Jesus through every encounter. I will forever be grateful for the mark CCH has left on our lives." - Stephanie G. (member since 2020)

"I'm so thankful for CCH! My family and I get to be a part of a like-minded, encouraging Christian community. My favorite things of being a member in CCH are the mom-friends, kid-friends, LEGO nights, Valentine's Skate Parties, Easter Egg Hunts and FIELD DAY! We also love the field trips, weekly Park Days and Prayer Nights." - Leslie C. (member since 2019)

For God, who said,
“Let light shine out of darkness,”
made his light shine in our hearts
to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory
displayed in the face of Christ.
